Hy-Vee

Very nice clean store. I love the natural foods section. They have dry cleaning services as well as a floral department. The bathrooms have been clean each time I have visited. Cashiers are friendly and you don't have to use a self check out! They even bag your groceries! 😁😂 My one issue... The floor associates, the ones that are Stocking the shelves or running around with a handheld computer, have not been very helpful as far as finding items go. I have asked 4 different associates to help me find items on 3 different occasions and 3 of them just dissected me to the isle # and not the product itself. One associate took me to the item I was searching for. This is only an issue as I am new to the area and new to this chain of grocery stores. I do appreciate the one associate who did help me. Other than this one small issue. Very nice... 😁

I went to this Hy-Vee to ship some packages off since they are open later than the post office. The lady who helped us was outstanding! Will absolutely be coming back

Great grocery store and restaurant. The store is always clean and well kept, never have am issue with something being out of stock, and the associates are always helpful.As a night owl who prefers to shop at night, I am grateful this place is open 24/7.

Good store very friendly..But the lil short Manager at night like to stalk black customers and play it off like he don't..he like the Chinese women at the hair store..HURRY UP AND BUY😂

I love how you bring your own boxes and fent for yourself. But security is a little unsettling. Dont understand why you need an armed guard at a family grocery store. Unnecessary.

Good meat variety /good taste and a decent selection not no butcher store on variety. But good selectiin on everything and dry goods fair prices for quality.

I like this store during overnight hours the staff is good during those hours in the day the staff is not as pleasant.

Always a pleasure to visit this store: always clean but it's still challenging to find knowledgeable staff to find a food item buried in the store someplace. An overall good experience.

Hy-Vee is a great store. It has a lot of things that Wal-mart don't have. For example it has a gas station in front of the store.

Always have what I want. They just need to re-learn how to sack groceries.

I’ve been coming to this location for about 7 months and have had a great experience every time. The manager of the wine and liquor depart is superb. His name is John. He is always so courteous respectful and helpful. He is very knowledgeable of the product and helps me to order what isn’t in stock. John is very good at what he does and looks very happy doing it. Good for you John!

Every since I was knee high to a grasshopper this place has been the best place to shop in independence

Always a clean, welcoming environment. Never have had a bad experience here in the 6 years I've been using them as my main grocier.

Very low on most items, definitely no paper or hygiene stuff.

Grocery store with a bar and grill inside. Whats not to love. I like how much it's improved since they've remodeled. Make me want to start eating lunch here. (Lots to choose from) very easy to find your groceries here despite how big it is.

The layout was kind of strange because when we walked in, the store had obviously been remodeled, but the flow wasnt really thought out. I didn't really mind though because I couldn't find several items I needed for a recipe... but an employee named Phillip took time out of his day to help me and redeemed it! So polite and courteous. I'll be back!

Love HyVee! Great deals and their bakery is the best. I stopped buying cakes from PriceChopper once I tasted one from HyVee. Never bought from any other bakery since.

Great place and employees but right now , cant keep products on the shelfs dew to virus. They are a good group of people keep polite no matter what the customers put them through at this time.

I had a hard time making sense of the store and where the items I specifically needed were. Maybe it is a different approach than I have experienced with other stores but I wasn't getting it.

I go there for lunch when in the area , I head straight to the all you can eat salad bar. Salad bar usually clean and we'll kept

One of the best Hy-Vee stores I've been too. The people working at the meat section are extremely helpful and even go as far as recommending different meats for your needs. Alot of aisles which can get confusing, but you can get in and out quick if you know what your looking for.

Well laid out and easy to find what you are looking for. Hy-Vee has great prices too.

The food was really good, beer prices were really high though and their bartender Irene was super helpful with drink suggestions and making us new drinks to try.

Always clean, and has great produce. It's a large store with a great meat counter, and a large variety of goods. I also love their health food section. They have so much over there that me and my fiance love to try.

All around pretty much my favorite local grocery store. I love the Deli especially and some great choices for frozen pizza especially since they have my favorite Chicago's home run Inn.

A very impressive store, much like the other Hy-Vee's. It has the Market Grill as well as a place to sit down and eat that doesn't look like a bar like atmosphere. They don't have a sign up for a post office but you can do mail through customer service.

Pretty reliable store. They tend to have one of the best butcher counters around Independence. The produce department is often lacking, though. Veggies are often at the end of their shelf life... The health market is well-stocked and generally has an abundance of hard to find ingredients.

Wow. Why did I wait so long to check this store out??? It's fabulous!!! Has EVERYTHING you could possibly want (practically), plus lots of extras. The staff is super and friendly. Quick check out. Simply awesome.
